FileForums - V9 PS2 Chip

hi,

i have a v9 ps2 .. i opened it up today, took all the parts apart and put it back together just to get familiar with the parts and the solder points ... it was sugguested to me to buy a 15W soldering iron and a 0.1 mm tip for the iron .. i live in vancouver, bc .. where would be the best place to buy the 15W iron and 0.1 mm tip ? are there any online stores that ship to canada where i could get it from ..

also what guage wire do i need for the regular points and the power & ground points and where would i obtain these ..

also i decided to get the duo2 chip ($30 US including shipping) because it was pretty cheap.. any comments on this chip would be great ..
