I´ve tried everything!!!
 

I need help! First I bought a 120gb seagate hdd. It didn´t work with my v7 PS2 and a dial/ethe adapter. The HD screen froze everytime. Then I went to a fiends house to tryed it and it didn´t work either there. Now I´ve bought a Maxtor 120gb hdd, wich is the most recomended one. And guess what!?, it freezes again. The jumpers are set to master and I don´t know what else to do??? Need some advice.

Try the DMS format tool (available from www.dms3.com), and no you don't need the DMS3 chip for this :) . Format the drive using that and then try and boot it with HDLoader. Hopefully, you'll sail straight in :D

Are you using the 'original' HDloader or the downloadable hacked one?

I'm using a downloaded version.
