About insert images on IP.BIN files!
Hi! =)
I`ve got another problem! :P I tried to make self-boot discs using the Echelon's method inserting image files on IP.BIN file to show in the splash screen one picture that i made with Adobe Photoshop. I tried, and tried... but the imagen doesn't show in the screen when i use it on my Dreamcast. I've inserted the image file on the IP.BIN, and then started to use the Echelon's method (hacked IP.BIN and 1ST_READ.BIN and another steps). Pehaps i have made anything wrong, or pehaps the Echelon's method is not compatible? I've seen some games working with this method (with image on splash screen) like Alone in The Dark - TNN and Shenmue II Jap ver. Can anyone help me with one step to step fast tutorial? ^^ Thanks! \o/ |
I first made the same mistake.
BinHack OVERWRITES ip.bin !!! You must insert your image AFTER you binhacked 1st_read.bin, or use another ip.bin to binhack your bin file, or use another hack tool... |
