please help (big papa or anyone)
aight, bare with me, Im new to this. Ive read lots of big papas posts , but i still dont understand.
ok first. whats the difference between bootable and nonbootable, and which one would be the one you buy from a dealer. what is the best program to use to burn games that you dont need the boot disk for., are all games in both non boot, or self boot format. where is the best place to get dreamcast isos. how do you know if all the isos are there. where is a good place to get patches and how do you burn self bootable games |
hi ok 1st things 1st they hate it when u ask for isos so do ur self a favour if u want ur messages 2 stay up long enough 2 b read dont ask use a good search engine ie dogpile etc but no more asking as no-one will say sites etc.
ok if its iso file use disk juggaler version 2 as will work if bin/cue use cdr-win open up the game and look for those files 2 determine what ya need. check out gamecopyworld.com and the dc part 2 get patches etc hope that helps a bit but i may be wrong as im still new 2 this so if anyone else has anyover points please say and help us out thanks bye :o) |
i use clone cd for PSX and DC non booting.
Discjuggler 2.0 for self booting DC games ez cd creator 4.0 for DC-VCD's. little nicky came out pretty good for the DC, so did charlie's angels. |
Self bootable games are games that do not require a boot disk to be inserted before the actual game in order for it to play. The ones you buy are obviously self bootable but they have nothing to do with this. Most games come in either one or the other. It just depends on what group decided to do what with what game. Most of the new ones are all self-boot.
