AR Max freezes when d/l new codes
 

i have this ver4 PS2 w/ a DUO chip and when i want to update the new codes available via internet connection, the screen freezes. i installed the network adaptor and tested it successfully. and i tried both turning on and off the chip. any ideas? is it compatible w/ this chip. i don't know which version of DUO chip it is, all i know is that it is a duo.

I don't think it's the chip... Can you test it on another PS2???

nah, i don't have another ps2. i mean, i can still manually enter the codes, but i prefer downloading it.

Try this,

use the disc that comes with your network adaptor and store the network settings into your memory card first, before running AR Max to do the codes update.
