Vertical Y axis alignment problems !

Hi,... I own a PAL PS2 with Messiah to play PS2 US games. So far everything is ok. But I also want to play PSone US games like Xenogears and Chrono Cross.... no here is the problem !

I have a large black border at the bottom of my screen. Is seems that the Y axis is not properly set somehow. The screens tilts towards the top. Any way to fix this ? I saw someone saying to use a Breaker Pro and boot without video setting but I'm not sure that will work.

I saw my first (I'm such a newbie) NTSC2PAL fixes on Megagames.com. Forgive me to ask but what is that ?? Is that what I need to fix my Y axis problem ? Thank you so much for your time !!

NTSC2PAL patches fix the games black and white or rolling screen problems. They sometimes but not always fix the Y axis.

You can get Zapper 2k and try that. Its basically a generic NTSC2PAL or PAL2NTSC patcher and Y axis fixer. It usually sets everything automatically but its not allways 100%. So you can adjust the settings a bit to meet your needs.

Thanks,... i'll try that,.. I also read somewhere that someone solved it by using the "Import player light" boot cd. Anyone any experience on that :) I tried to burn the cue but the playstation does not except it.

Maybe because I use the wrong burn program or it is has something to do with the fact that I can't set my burnspeed below 4 :)
