Relationship Blues :(

Ok lets get this straight,

I've met a girl who's perfect.

Wakes you up with a coffee every morning, doesn't mind gaming and will happily sit there playing my games (Badly but I dnt mind! hehe)

But i'm not attracted to her :( ie there's no spark!

What the hell can I do? Anyone else had this problem?

AXmichigan 11-07-2004 14:54

uhh
paperbag her?

TylerDurden 11-07-2004 14:54

Ok first thing, no girl is perfect. Thats one of those messed up thing your mind tells you usually when your in love.

Now, knowing that make sure you make mental notes of little quirks that make her unperfect. Those will be the things that youll usually fall in love with in the end.

Lastly, the thing to do is go out and find the most beautiful girl you can find. I mean on thats like way out of your league. Also one with an attitude problem is an added bonus. Ask her out. When she rejects you, call the girl youve been talkin about and youll find that shes a lot more appealling.

Take this advice at your own risk.

Tyler!

mine'll work if that doesnt... :)

also
personality will make her look alot better in a lil time
ull see what i mean

LOL, note taken!

You see the problem is that she doesn't have any faults! In all honesty I think the problem is very slack but I hope people don't take it the wrong way.

Basically she's a very petite girl (Runs in the family) and even though she's 22(Same age as me) she looks no older than around 14/15. She also sounds this way too.

Whenever we go out to the cinema she gets ID's, HMV, ID'd and I know it isn't her fault but I feel strangly uncomfortable about it. Her clothes have to be specially bought as even a size 8 at next is too big!

I've spent the last 2 months putting it "on hold" and thinking about how slack it seems as it isn't her fault but nomatter where we go, or whatever we do there are always dirty looks coming my way. :(

It's not as if i'm being pathetic about her looks (trust me i've had some dogs in my time!) but I feel like I can't enjoy the relationship because of people's snide comments and looks.

AXmichigan 11-07-2004 15:29

dude
now thats retarded
f*ck what everyone thinks
if u love her
then thats all that matters man
come on
man up

Jay_83 11-07-2004 15:37

Mate,

Trust me if you knew the situation you wouldn't be saying that. I have no problem with her (and you can't love some1 you've only been seeing a few months!)

The problem I have is the comments and looks other people give. It's easy to say **** what everyone else thinks. But when it's 24/7 it simply isn't that easy mate!

I was even pulled up in a restaurant because the waiter thought I was giving drinks to a underage kid.

It's not funny :( and it isn't as simple as saying forget what other people think

Hahahaha, dude, I know EXACTLY what you mean. Recently at the Uni I was at, there was this very little girl, yet she was older then me. Great Personality and everything, told her some secrets and ****, thought, to myself "You know what, this feels right, lets ask her how she feels" ;)

I also hanged around with very immature guys, constant jibes and ****, me being 6 foot and her being 3 foot or something. In the end I just left it, I preffered the respect of my mates over 'love'. To this day I regret it. Ended Uni on a real downer. Ending up being a proper prick towards her.

Heck, I think it was I who came up with the best nickname for her, Jailbait. Flipping hilarious. But damn, what a missed opportunity. That little midget could have been the 'one' :(

Jay_83 11-07-2004 15:44

BountyWarrior you've hit the nail on the head. Thats exactly the way I feel.

I've actually ****ed a number of friends off because of them being immature about it yet here's the low down.

I've spent weeks thinking this over and it's so god damn difficult.

She's perfect but I just don't have the 'lust' i've had in the past...and I think the jibes/looks about the size is the region.

yet I know i'l regret it if I let her go....... :(

JoyBoy 11-07-2004 15:52

In my opinion, I say it would be best to put some space between you two for a few days and see if she constantly plays on your mind. If she does, then you know what that means ;)

Obviously, if she doesnt, then it was never meant to be. Let her go. Nicely of course :)

Jay_83 11-07-2004 16:04

She already plays on my mind!

I chatted up a asda checkout girl last week and ended up taking her on date this weekend. Things went well and she came in for a 'coffee'.

But then she started acting funny when she asked what my hobby's are. As soon as gaming came into it and she saw the collection she seemed a bit reserved........whilst the small one was like a kid at christmas! She's even stole my n64, Yoshi's story, Myst and a few others! How perfect is that guys?? :)

As for the asda girl she's now wanting "THE LOGO" but i'd rather be with someone who respects me for me, and doesn't disapprove of my hobbies. (ie the small 'un)

I respect the little 'un, think she's totally wicked and love being around her....but the jibes/looks spoil it and make me act defensive all the time...something I don't wanna be :(

JoyBoy 11-07-2004 16:23

Well, I tend to agree with the Asda Girl. GAMES ARE FOR KIDS!!!!

Anyways, about your little girl. If she is playing on your mind, I say go for it. She seems to accept you the way you are. Its flipping hard to find a girl who does that in this day and age. If things dont work, all you lose is a cup of coffee. Tell her how you feel you chicken. If your mates cannot accept that, then **** them. If they were real mates then they should be happy for you. Its not their comments that will bother you the most though. I always find its complete strangers comments which hurt more. But **** them too. They dont know you or the little girl.

Cheers m8 :)
