I'm trying to back up far cry and I keep getting errors with the discs on the install any ideas

OK I scanned it with clonyxxl safedisc 2/3 then open alcohol 120% chose make image wizard w/safedisc 2/3 and click go when finished chose burn image wizard. everything else I've backed up workes fine but frycry

no the errors come when trying to install everything goes fine during the image copy and burn

First off, are you using the latest version of Alcohol?

If repeated attempts to make a backup doesn't work, i think it's most likely due to your CD burner lacking the technical spec. If that's the case, you'll have to buy a better burner.

Before doing that, though, try updating your ASPI drivers to newer ones from the Adaptec homepage.

I made a flawless backup of FarCry using the latest Alcohol, a Lite-On CD-RW (48x24x48x), quality media (Memorex), and the default ASPI drivers installed from WinXP Home SP1a.
