Csi 2

I've searched for all the topics about CSI 2 - Dark Motives and they're all the same, with people like me asking for help because the No-CD patch on gamecopyworld doesn't work.

Can anyone please help to resolve this?

BTW I'm a complete novice so go gently ;)

Well I tried applying the patch, followed the exact instructions and nothing. The No-CD file seems to be identical to the one being replaced, in terms of size and date and time created, which I thought was odd??

Any help would be much appreciated. I do have the original but as its on my laptop, I don't like carrying many CDs around with me.

well here it sais extract it in the csi2/code directory.did you do that?what does it say?if it's not woring try applying the crack in the original version(not patched)

Yeah, I extracted the file to the csi2/code directory and replaced the file, thats when I realised the file you replace is the same as the one you're replacing it with.

When I then try to run the game, it asks for the CD to be inserted

"if it's not working try applying the crack in the original version(not patched)"

I dont understand that last bit sorry. What crack in the original version?

you applied the patch and then replaced the file?
try not patching the game and replace the file

Don't apply the official patch and just replace the file?

I'll give it a shot and let you know
