hi i have just downloaded VBS1 addons packs now i know it wont install because i dont have vbs1 installed. how do i dedit the reg so that the msi thinks the game is installed so i can get to the files in the msi by installing it.

or is there a way i can exstract the files from the msi without installing thanks for your help

Hey wizzywig,

I hope the reason for your not installing the original game is not that you don't actually have it. Anyway, grab FileMon and RegMon from http://www.sysinternals.com and watch what the installer is doing... Good luck,

i have original game had it sent to me but it installed correctly but the addons wont run it says i got a key string missing i have tryed reinstalling it 5 or 6 time i just would like to have the addons i payed for i asked the guys form there site and all i got back was clean your reg and try again so i did and the only other way i can think of is reinstalling and i dont wont to do this a s thegame works fine i realy would like a msi exstarator so that i can manualy install the addons one by one if and one knows of a msi exstactor ot the cab exstrator please let me know

you bought VBS for 140$ and addons (minimum 50$) ?
hard to believe for me, but ok...
but, why dont you ask at the official VBS support :rolleyes:
