Hard Drive Help?
 

Hey everyone!

I have one quick question involving picking a new HD for my XBOX.

I am currently looking at purchasing a Western Digital 200 GB ATA100 EIDE. It does have an 8MB cache.

Does it matter that this drive is a ATA100 or does it have to be a ATA133. I know that anything that will take an ATA133 will slow down to take an ATA100 drive in the PC sense. What abou the XBOX?

An even better question would be "Why would someone use an ATA100 drive in a machine that will use a 133?"
I don't see why it wouldnt work but I dont see a reason to try it either.

Howz about a 50$ reason. Brand new still sealed from the company I work for...
