Sony knows about my modchip?!?!

I have a version 7 ps2 with Apple modchip. I cant even play originals online it seems becuase it appears that sony DNAS 1.1 can tell that i have a chip and decides to freeze the game (even the original)

what can i do:(.

did you try to go online with modchip disabled? if yes then another way is to patch the games for online playing.

ajmi982 15-06-2004 13:51

works with disabled

the original will work if i disable the chip, however, u can NOT disable the chip and have a backup load, so... how will it be possible for me to play a backup online if sony knows my chip is there.

khafan 15-06-2004 14:32

well, if you don't want use your originals then the only way is to patch the backups, search the forum for patching dnas, there are several threads about it.

patching dnas and playing a back up online will work, so sony is not reading my mod chip?

khafan 15-06-2004 15:00

yeah, that's right.
