No-CD crack for Virgin Roster
I've searched everywhere but I just can't find one. Gamecopyworld only has save games. Someone please help!!!
|
i dont think there was a NO-CD crack released for this game.
|
When I try to play the game (it's already installed), a window pops up and says please re-insert CD.
|
Hi Grey_Ninja, run ProtectionID on the game (see the forum stickies) and tell us what protection it uses. I don't have the game and I can't crack today's sophisticated commercial copy protections but if this game has only a few plain CD-checks, I'll try to help you...

Scanning -> E:\BLEEDUS.EXE
File Type : Exe, Size : 1420143 (015AB6Fh) Bytes -> File has 740207 (0B4B6Fh) bytes of appended data starting at offset 0A6000h [!] Safedisc 2.80.010 detected ! - Scan Took : 0.369 Seconds That's what it said, I'm not too familiar with the program. Sorry for taking so long to reply. |
Hi Grey_Ninja, pretty bad as no automatic decryptor has been published for that relatively new version of Safedisc and I'm pretty far from knowing enough about Windows to hack _that_... :(

Oh well, thanks anyways.

Hi, I share the problem as Grey Ninja and wonder if it is now possible to fix that game now. I run the newest Protection ID and it showed me the same as it did for Grey Ninja.

edit: Nevermind I tried several ways and fixed the problem myself. |

Specially for Grey_Ninja I have uploaded crack for this game from my No-CD collection.

Anybody have any idea how to get sound? the Virgin Roster file in GameCopyWorld shows up as Tsuki.Possession.nocd.rar , which is a completely diff. game. Can anybody help me out with my sound problem please? Heres a picture of the messages I get: First I get this one, http://img135.imageshack.us/img135/903/untitledhl9.png then I press Yes and I get this message, http://img169.imageshack.us/img169/2900/untitlednp1.png I choose Yes again and it starts the game of course with no sound. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :) |
Try playing around with the hardware acceleration level in the Sounds and Audio Devices item of Control Panel. Also, make sure you have the latest driver for your sound card installed. (See the same item for MIDI capabilities.)
|
DirectSound is also tied into DirectX, so make sure you have at least DirectX 9.0c installed too!!

I'm not exactly sure how to mess around with the hardware acceleration, I checked and I didn't see an option to change that. I was messing around with some of the sound options on my computer and I went back to the game and it didn't want to run anymore!!! So I tried my best to remember everything I had changed and changed it back to what it was....well thank goodness the game is at least working now again sound or no sound. Guess its trying to tell me to be happy with what I got huh? ;) |
Read the forum FAQ for a link to the very latest (Dec 2006) DirectX. (Hint: It is NOT obvious that you have the latest version.) As for the hardware acceleration, go to Control Panel, Sound and Audio Devices item, Audio tab, Advanced button, Performance tab, see Hardware acceleration. (Take more time with exploring Windows!)
