crossover system link cable
 

hey im goin to a lan party and i have to bring a system link cable... will a normal crossover cable work, or do i have to buy a xbox system link cable?

when i used to lan my xbox's i used my crossover cable ( the one i use to ftp with the pc ) it worked fine for me...

if u have a router any cat 5 works
u only needa crossover if its direct from pc to box

a crossover cable is not only for xbox to pc. it can also be used for direct lan xbox to xbox as i used to use it for this exact purpose...
