messiah2 pro v2.0 or matrix infiniy
 

Hi, I'm looking for advice on which modchip to get installed. I have access to these two in my area:
Matrix infinity
Messiah2 pro v2.0

I read about the Matrix infiniy that it takes 10 seconds to boot, I don't really like that.
Haven't read anything about the Messiah2 pro v2.0 around here. Is this a new chip? How does it compare to the matrix infinity?

Well I can’t comment on the Messiah 2 v2, but the 10 second thing you are commenting on with the infinity only applies to PSX games, PS2 games boot just like normal. Also from what I have found it’s not always 10 seconds, a lot of times it’s faster. This isn’t really that big of a deal, and even if it is you can force the Infinity into PSX mode by holding down the circle button and it will boot much faster.

The Infinity has some cool features over the Messiah V2 as well, but in the end it comes down to what you want and what you need and what you can afford......read my post here

I would rather have a infinity, Messiah is to pricey for no features and isn't upgradable.

infinity or duo there the ones to look out for

infinitys prob double the price of the duo but it has its extra features.

For the features, I'd go with Matrix Infinity. BTW, is the M2 v2 even an official Team Messiah chip - I thought they were closed down :(

Ive heard that when sony busted em they quicky sold it to another load of people and they kept reproducing the m2 i heard this on a forum and on a mod chip site. its not a rip off of something else i dont think anyone shed some light onto this?
