Ricoh MP7040 and Nero 6
 

Can any one help me with this query please

My CD-R/RW is a Ricoh MP7040A (about 5 years old) works in the main OK. I upgraded to Windows XP recently from Windows 98. I also upgraded to Nero 6 from 4.

Burning data / photos appears OK but every time I try to burn an audio CD it fails.

The message I get on screen is "Invalid field in command"

Anyone out there with any ideas, no wish to buy a new burner as a first step to solving the problem.

:confused:

check the files your burning are them mp3 or wma because some audio files can be copy protected.

If that doesnt help try using a diffrent recording package like easy cd creator or record now max.
