GTA : Vice City
 

Hey folks ... I need some help with GTA::Vice City (sorry If I've posted this in the wrong place).

My game has various weird graphics bugs, I've tried to install the Graphics fix, but when i do that the no-CD patch stops working (as the original exe is overwritten), does anyone know if there is a combined no-cd / grapics fix available?
I've searched the forums, and the site, and seen many Vice City problems that are similar, but didn't find a solution.

If anyone can help, I'd greatly appreciate it.

U installed the graphics fix after u copied the no-CD fix into the folder where Vice City is installed?

Yeah, I've tried just about every combination. The problem is, the graphics fix just updates the game.exe, and the nocd also updates the game.exe. (When I say update, what I actually mean is overwrite). So it basically overwrites the game/exe twice, losing whichever update you did first.

So, that's why im trying to find a combined graphics / nocd patch.

With GTA III I had (I think) the same problem. But I used a Microsoft fix. This fix doesn't update de game.exe
Maybe u can try using this fix.
What's ur OS? XP?

there is a nocd (+blood) patch at megagames for version 1.1!
i played gta3 and had problems with the graphics!
i installed the windows XP(!) fix (somekind of screensaver fix!!)
and it worked well. i think for gta vice city you don't need this windows fix only the patch 1.1.
