Rip kit ISO’s that need CDRWIN to be burned, any alternatives?

I’m stuck! It’s been a while since I’ve needed to use CDRWIN to burn an ISO. Most kits make a weird ISO files that specifically needs CDRWIN ISO recording Tools to force Mode2 XA recording. All my other burning software will only see these ISO’s as MODE1, even CDMAGE! CDRWIN does not work with my 4040B. There’s got to be a tool out there that will convert these ISO’s to something I can use?

I want a CDR version of a game to play on my old V4 upstairs that won’t read DVD’s anymore! Yes, I am pathetic!

You can use Disc Juggler 4.1. It will allow you to choose mode 2. It should also recognize your burner, since Disc Juggler is well known for recognition of burners. I used to use earlier versions of DJ to burn my rips, back in the day.

Try using an older version of CDRwin. Used to have the same burner an I think version 3.8C is compatible.

Dude, just do what I do everytime I run into a wierd image format.

Mount it with Daemon tools

Then do a CD Copy.

Works every time.

I'll give it a shot later on. Disc Jugular did not work, BTW, after selecting mode2 and everything it reverted back to mode1 when I hit record. Do they make CDRW’s in 700MB ? I don’t feel like making another coaster!

Have you used Daemon Tools with Rip Kit ISO’s that say burn with cdrwin tools, mode2 XA?

Hmm thats odd, I know Disc Juggler does work. I have used it to burn other ps2 and ps1 games before.
