Pal->ntsc
 

I have been trying like mad to convert Pal psx games to NTSC, but so far every converter program I have tried either hasent worked or created an unbootable game.

I have two questions.

1. Is there a guide anywhere on converting Pal to NTSC? I am pretty sure you gotta change three things, the video mode, the color mode, and the Y-positioning. Is there a guide that covers all that?

2. I recently got an ISA Pc comms card and a PSX Game Hunter. With these I can connect the PSX to the PC and read/dump/modify it's ram as its running. There was a program that could take advantage of this to try to generate a way of converting a PAL game to NTSC or vice cersa. But I cannot find the program anymore, anybody help?

Zapper 2k has worked like a charm for me. Used it a few times. Its not always a 100% but it allows for a pretty darn good play.
