PAL backup on US PS2?
 

I've burned a PAL version of Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2 with Alcohol 120%. I think I did the burn procedure correctly. I have a v4 no solder chip in my ps2 and a swapmagic 3.0 and gameshark2 cds. When I inserted a disc in my ps2, it stays at "insert disc" screen forever. I'm not sure if the PAL version can be played on my "modchipped" ps2? I got it from:

Maybe I should just get the real DUO modchip and try installing it myself (if I can). And do anyone know where to get the ps2 accessories? Such as a ribbon cable for my reset/power light, it went out when I screwed the case together and the screw went through the ribbon cable and destroyed one of the wires, so I can't see the green light anymore, but I can see the red one heh.
