duo install
 

just received my duo in the mail today.

been using the no solder mod for about 2 yrs now, and recently my game shark started actin up so i figured it was time for an upgrade.

so, my question.

i modified my ps1 back in the day w. relative success, still works to this day. was only 7 or so wires, but whatever.

anyway, i need to go get the wires @ my local radio shack. what do i need? obviously i need the the simplest installation available, and i recall reading on here about a couple different alternatives when soldering, wires vrs. something else?

also, i think when i did my ps1, it called for an iron that was under a certain voltage or the like. is this still the case?

can someone refresh my memory so i get a smooth installation?
