Problems with media.
 

I have a PS2 V7 Model no. SCPH-39004 with DMS3 Chip Flash 2.2 and a Pioneer DVR-105 DVD-R. Today I purchased a batch of Verbatim DVD-R Inkjet Print (Metal AZO) 4X. The media has manufacturer ID: MCC 01RG20 (Mitsubishi). I've tried backing up 2 DVDs so far, both run smoothly from my DVD-R, but my PS2 can't seem to recognize them. Is my PS2 incompatible with this type of media or is there anything I can do to get it working? I've used Datawrite media before and never had any problems with it whatsoever.

It could be bad media, it also could be a bad burn or a weak PS2 laser, did you recieve any read errors when making the image?? What software did you use to rip and burn the movie?
