help backing up prince of persia sands of time
 

just bought this game and i am trying to back it up. i was able to back up the first disc but the 2nd disc has protection on it safe disc2 i used clone cd with fast skip error on now it copied it but i am getting and error message, has any 1 had any luck backing it up, i have an nec dvd writer and its new could it be that it isint able to read the bad sectors. can ya help

others would say use alcohol or so! I think every cd-drive has problems with the bad sectors. I had the same problem when I made a backup of a sims addon. my version of clonecd has a function that ignores the bad sectors.
1.right click on clonecd tray on your taskbar
2.then I have: Hide CDR media(<-translated!):confused:
when this option is activated clonecd "hides" infos on cdr's, so cd-drive thinks it is an original.

maybe u don't have this function my clonecd help says:
this function is disabled in usa.:(

All you have to do to enable hide cdr media is go into control panel and change your regional setting to a country that is supported.
