about to run a system restore
 

ok for some reason i cant uninstall anything on my pc so im gonna run a system restore but before i do i have a quesion

i got a dvd burner that did not come with my pc. when i got the pc the cd burner that came with the pc was set to master and was drive e. now my dvd burner is set to master and is the e drive will this cause any problems during the system restore? the burner that came with the cd is also set to slave mode now

are u gonna restore it to before that switch?

dont think so, if ur gonna restore it by one of this restore packs then it might change it bk again but if ur doing it the classic way then see why it should caouse problems

when i start up my pc it says press F10 to run system restore and it sets it pack to the way it was when you got it. thats what i was gonna do

it should not cause a problem all it should do in resotre the boot drive from an image

if its befor.e.. i figure itd recognize the drive change
so u should be fine

ok i just restored and every thing is working fine :) :cool: :D :D :D :D :cool: :cool: i can uninstall and can accese the task manager!
