New Media Check?
 

Hi There!
Until recently, the best way to bypass the media check (even better than ISO Craxtion!) was to edit the default.xbe with a Hex editor (such as Hackman) (Tutorial by Quall999 ;o))
In every .xbe, there is a string (E8CAFDFFFF85C07D) where you just had to replace the 7D by EB.
It worked fine until i tried it with The Suffering.
That game hasn't the magic string!!! and doesn't run from my HDD (still the lovely black screen).

The point is: Since i downloaded it, it may be corrupted OR is it a newer way to lock games???

Anyone has an idea?

It has whats being known as the fatx check or hdd check. The latest version of DVD2Xbox fixes that. Just use your original, place it in your drive and save to your hdd. DVD2Xbox will do the rest.

Why do I think you didn;t buy the game....well since you seem to havd downloaded the game how about this for help: Buy the game and then back it up.

the patch tyler uploaded for nfl fever
patch it with that using dvd2xbox and ur good
the newer ones.. im informed already comes with it
