whats the best cd-rw to use
 

i just got my modchip 1 week ago and i want to know the best cd-rw to use when burning games.

It´s a matter of your dvd drive manufacture. But by popular advice, Sony and Pengo media are the most compatible

i have the thomson dvd drive. ya i now its crap but i can't aford to buy a better one.

you won't get many games to fit on a cd-rw most are well over a gig with all the crap removed. it's best to burn them to dvd-r

i can't afford 1 right now i blew all my money but i think next year ill get one. Can you burn a game to multiple disc (2-3)? i you can, i can get enough games and i can put biger games on my hdd. if anyone knos how to burn to multiple disc or knows a program that can please tell me.

you can use a programme called isocraxtion to create a multi game iso but again due to size you will have to burn them to dvd.

also you won't get many games on the original xbox hd either as all you get as standard is 8 to 10 gig hd.

as for dvd burners they go for about 70 pounds sterling and up try this site as a rough guide i know you'r in canada but it will give you a good guide as what things go for.

ya you can get a good one for a bit over $100 cdn. on ebay. i've been watching the prices. am graduating grade 9 in about 2 months so my parents might buy me one. ya and i tried the multigame tool on isocraxtion and it just put more than one iso together into one. how do i make one iso game into a two disc game.

if you meen splitting the iso to run over 2 discs then it's not possible, the simple answer is yet again that you need a dvd burner, there is no other option other than upgrading you'r xbox hd which will cost way more than a dvd burner.
