What is the #1 choice of DVD-Rs?
 

I have read so many differing opinions on what the best choice of DVD-Rs for backups are. I am currently using Memorex 4x, but I don't get good results. The Sims busitin out freezes at the EA logo, Dark Cloud 2 worked the first time I played and then not at all. Castlevania has been my only success with these?

Soooo, what is the very best, regardless of price, DVD-R? I have seen posts saying Ritek GO4s, only to have someone say the PS2 doesn't like shiny purple surfaces. Traxdata? Verbatim?
