Vietcong Fist Alpha Installation Impossible?
 

04-27-04 VIETCONG FIST ALPHA INSTALLATION IMPOSSIBLE


I cannot play fist alpha, I isntall vietcong, after install patch 1.6, after install fist alpha, and it give me the follow error:

"cannot find procedure entrance point
?COM_MakeCSM@@YAXPADO@Z in logs.dll dynamics links library"


Some one have idea?

The procedure entry point ?COM_MakeCSM@@YAXPADOO@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library log.dll


I got the uncensored version and patched it via the v1.01,v1.30, & the v1.30-v1.41 patches. Then I installed FIST ALPHA then installed the v1.6 patch then I put in the FIST ALPHA crack and I get that error message when I clicked on the icons for the game and its exspansion.

It appears that your game installation is corrupted. Try without a crack, with the original EXE and CD/DVD. If it still gives you this error then, I think, the official updates have NOT been applied properly. Re-install the game, re-apply the patches and see the output of the patches. Do all the patches tell you that they have been applied successfully? I suggest you contact the publisher anyway. Good luck!

Another way would be to install Vietcong then install Fist Alpha and check that they both work.
If I remember correcty Fist Alpha should install its own update for Vietcong?
Then install the rest of the updates. After you install each update again check to see if the games still work. Install one update at a time then re-check.

Thanks for all the replies as it turns out it was the cracked exe that I was using. I uninstalled and reinstalled but didn't update the game then installed FIST ALPHA the the v1.60 patch but before I put in the NEW crack I installed the FREE EXSPANSION RED DAWN the put in the crack and after that it ran. But at a later point I uninstalled the reinstalled then used the v1.01, v1.2, v1.3, v1.4, v1.41 patches then installed
F A then patched to v1.6 the installed R D the put in the crack and it still works.
