age of empires 2 wont run
 

HI guys ive been given a cd with aoe2 + conquerers expansion. Problem is it tries to install the expansion first and won't allow it witout aoe installed. I was directed to a file in the game folder to install aoe2 first, but it won't open. Anybody had this problem??
or can anyone know how to fix this

It certainly sounds like someone combined the cds of AOE2 and conqueror. Which is fine as long as you do it for yourself as a backup, but not for providing friends with 'free' versions. Thread closed.
