Hi Im new to the forum so be gentle. lol

Ok i've tried searchin for my answer but to no avail, IM just very simple I guess, anyway

I have just downloaded dvd2xbox 5.5, but what do I do with it now, how do I load this on to the xbox? I have a CD writer (NOT a dvd writer YET) do I jus unzip the file an burn on to disc an put it in the xbox, or is it not as simple as this

Bascially I would like to be able to back up my xbox games onto dvd (when i get my writer) I would like to do this with minimal hassel

my xbox isn't connected to my pc and I don't have a modchip (whateva that does?) can I still do this without these?

dvd2xbox is a program used to backup games onto your xbox HDD. If you want to burn them to a dvd then this isn't the ideal program to use.

You have to have an ftp connection to your xbox. You need a modchip to do this (allows the xbox to execute non MS approved games/apps....unsigned code). You need to load up an ftp program such as evox, to enable you to ftp into your xbox. Then you put the game in the tray and copy the disk directly off your xbox to your PC.
