FileForums - Syberia 1&2 install issues...

I signed on this forum just for this issue.
I remember when i installed Syberia a long time ago, after it installed disc 1&2 it asked me for disc 1 again. I would put it in and click ok but it didn't like that and i'd have to force the installation to shut down.
I could play the game fine after i installed the no-cd crack but the only way to uninstall it was to do a System Restore to before i installed the game since the install wasn't properly finished.
Well i've got the same issue with Syberia 2.>_<
Could it be as simple as not giving the cd the correct label(syb1 or whatever) or is this due to the protection software. I did a search in the forum and i didn't see this problem with anyone else so you guys are eather smarter then me(nah, that can't be it) or i'm missing something here?!?
