SpellForce and 1.11 issue fixed
 

I had an issue with the 1.11 patch
that wouldnt let me install it with my bakup disks! After getting no help from thier tech peeps i took it upon myself to get it done.

The problem was that the 1.11 patch had a new check scheme that used the install.log file which will check where it was installed from! It would also check the exe as usual, well after trying many things, even DL'ing that crap 1.11 update patch from
emule, which didnt work for me, I then reinstalled SF and then went in and made a bakup of the install.log file and then deleted it from the game dir, after that I installed the 1.03 patch which placed a new install.log file in the game dir!

AFter that I ran the 1.11 patch with no probs at all:)

Now I had someone else mention to me that they had a prob with a dat file in the folder, well That is from the Fairlight release
and if you want this trick to work you will need to delete that file first....
