MAC • Toast • No cd-recorder found • Help!
 

Trying to burn a cd with Toast.
My computer has a built in cd burner, so there's nothing to hook up.
But Toast doesn't acknoledge it.

(No cd-recorder. Please check cables and power.)

there are no cables.
The burner is part of my computer... and obviously the power's on because my computer's up...

well, check the support of Toast or something. maybe you need some new updated drivers/firmware or whatever.

Dude, I was kinda serious actually. Check cables and power. :rolleyes: Just because the drive's built into your PC doesn't mean there isn't a cable that might have worked itself loose, or something else might have happened... :P though hrb2k's advice is probably worth trying first before you open up yer machine :)
