is there really a soloution for my problem :(((
i dont know whats wrong with playin burned games on my dc. i got it like 5 month ago and original games work fine but burned games r pissin me off. i burn them and all but after an hour of play or so the game pauses, freezes or quits to the memory card screen. i tried all differrent types of cdr media and now i'm using Imation 74 min, so is it over heating or what? the 1st game i tried with the imation cds was dead or alive 2 and it just froze after 1 hour of gameplay. plz help

Have you added a dummy file to your dc copied game?
|
yes i dummied the game using auto dummy adder and i burned with fire burner, isnt that what i'm supposed to do?
|
could it be that my dc overheats? or the dummies suck?
|
maybe your burner sucks. older cdr burners seem to have trouble with the self booting games. also try different media. i never use crappy media, especially that cmc magnetics crap.
|
well could it be that i use 74 min cds? did u try using 74 min cds with dc games such as doa2 ?
|
imation cdr's are made by cmc magnetics. i never use imation cdr's.
if 74 min. or 80 min. it should not matter, except for most self booting games require 80 min cdr's. i just got test drive le mans the other day and it is on a 74 min. cdr and it works fine. i copied it to a 80 min. cdr and it works fine. use quality cdr's. |
if its not the cds then what is it :((
i'm desperate, all burned games freeze after an hour or so of gameplay, my only guess is that the dc overheats and thats y it freezes, i dont think its my cdr thats messin the games cause they're playin for 1 hour or more perfectly (sometimes though) and i dont think its the media cause i've tried several, i also dont think its the dc cause original games work perfectly. so plz guys tell me what to do :( |
sorry, i have no idea then.
did you try flipping the dc upside down while playing. if it worked for the psx, who knows |
