i install the game full install from the backup i made then apply the patch on the clean install then i copied all the files from the crack to the system dir in the game and the game freeze in the startup just the loading screen and it stopped did i did something wrong or what is the problem???

I have the same problem (Italian version, but it is multilanguage).
At the game startup i get "General Protection Fault" error, then <?itt?Engine.Errors.CDCopy?>
My Drivers for Radeon 9700 Pro and Directx are updated.

maybe the copy you made is crap???or the crack is crap.try installing from the original apply patch and copy crack

It is not a Crack or a Cd Copy problem, I guess.
I have original Cds and backup ones too, and the problem appears when i install the 1.01 patch, with or without the Crack.
By my humble opinion it is an Unreal Engine problem.
My Ati Catalyst Drivers are 4.4 updated.

I have a Gforce 3 TI 500 card and get the same error message. The version 1.0 crack works but the 1.1 doesn't. Therefore it seems the crack is not good.

Can anyone help?

I repeat: It is an error caused by the UNREAL ENGINE.
It is not a Crack problem.
I have original Cds and the problem is the same.
I have uninstalled all the game and re-installed the original 1.0 version and it works, now i'm playing fine without the 1.01 patch!

so a patch that needs another patch to work lol

I got this problem with v1.0 too before upgrading to daemon-tools v3.45 and alcohol 120% v1.4.8.1.2.2. XIII blacklists virtual drives and corrupts the Installation if such software are detected at installation. The game crashes to desktop at the beach level, giving the error message ??init.engine.CdCopy??

Possible solution: Uninstall Alcohol and blindwirte. Upgrade to daemon-tools v3.46, the try again. If this doesn't work, wait for a new version of daemon-tools.
