Problem burning Texas Chainsaw Massacre
 

I've been using Sony DRU500a, CloneDVD and DVD Shrink and along with Ritek G04 never had a problem with any title. However, I'm able to Shrink the movie successfully but when I try to burn it aborts the movie in about 10 seconds giving me error "5 5". I just downloaded DVD Decrypter, then used Shrink, then Clone DVD and still the same problems. Any suggestions???:confused:

Im thinkin maybe your Sony Drive is having problems burning to the Ritek 4x media. It wasnt too long ago that you couldnt even use Ritek 4x media and actually write at 4x in the Sony DRU-500A.

Thx for the post, but I don't think that's the problem. I copied two movies earlier with no problem using the same media. I will try it on a different media tomorrow and see if that helps.

I realized that even though I compressed to level 10 through DVD Shrink, the folder it created was still sized bigger then the media size. I tried again just compressing the movie itself and leaving out all the add'l footage and was able to burn fine...although I remained somewhat confused why compressing the entire movie didn't work???:confused:

level 10? sounds like your using an old version of dvd shrink try updating
