I was just wondering is there anyone out there who likes decent metal? people that when i say goth, they dont go murderdolls or evanescence, get the way im going? :)

Like Iron Maiden, Children Of Bodom, Manowar?

ehm these bands are NOT goth...and no these bands is heard from everyone except the true metalheadz.evanescence is just rock.but hell yeah there are!!!i also play guitarz...what about you guyz?i really like iced earth though

Well i am not sure what 'goth' is, lol, I grew up a metal head in the 80's. My favorite bands was Ozzy, judas priest, old Van Halen, not van hagar :) ACDC, Metallica ect. Back in 1986 i went to the Ozzy Ozbourne, Ultimate sin concert, Man it was wild lol. Today i like bands like Disturbed and Godsmack. There dont seem to be as many metal bands as there used to be....Or then again maybe i just got old ;)

I dunno, Ive personally never listened to goth music. But I am pretty open to lots of music. Except maybe rap, well new rap mainly cause it sucks. My alltime favorite band is Nirvana.

I am also kind of a soundtrack person too. I always liked Tarantino's soundtracks. But some old GreenDay is cool and System of A Down is hella cool I still think.

Heck I could go on for days.

In addition to these 80's rock bands, there where several great artists/bands back then but the definition of rock has tremendously changed over the years. New age rock is less appealing but if you want more of the 80's greats, I would like to add just a few more to Warlocks list here.
Black Sabbath, Dio, Twisted Sister, Ratt, Slayer, Black Crows, Malmsteen, Vinny Vincent, Loudness, Wasp, White Snake, and many more.

Actually I have an ultimate bands list if you would like me to post it some time. I will have to dig it up from my old pc back up files. I never did finish it but maybe we could all work it and make it even better. I bet there is over 600 bands on it right now. Any of you want to help me finish it?
