Burning dvd rip games into a dvd?

i'm currently a newb to this whole backing up games business..so if anymore would offer help by answeringmy questions please, i be grateful =)

i was trying to burn a dvd-rip game on a dvd-r disc using 120% alcohol and nero, but it won't let me...why?

Is there a way to burn dvd-rip games or convert them so you can burn them on a dvd-rs?

Just use your original and back it up to a dvdr. Skip ripping it all together.

I agree cd-r are alot cheaper then dvd-r :D . In my case scenario, my friend helped me backed up all my dvd games by ripping them using a software call dvdshrink i believe?(idiot friend * ahem*) well i recently lost my game Dynasty Warrior 4 and i was wondering if i could use the dvd-rip file of the game to make it a original dvd-r game again.

First of all, DVDShrink is for DVD movies only. Not games.

Secondly if you lost your original then you must destroy your backup. You must have the original no matter how bad a shap its in to be able to legally keep a backup of it.
