Dreamcast that dosen't work whit burned game.
 

I heard a rumor telling that there was a new batch of dreamcast since october 2000 that have some kind of protection on them against Burned dc game. Is there anyone that can confirm or denied that and if so can you give some detail.

I have a new sports edition dreamcast purchased near the end of october. It Will run backups but will constantly get hung up in FMV sequences, these sequences work fine however on older DC's. Did you hear about this from someone else who has a sports DC?

dreamcasts coming out in december will be modified not to read cd-r
the reason your sports dreamcast gets stuck in fmv is because
you laser to weak and needs turned up
then you can read everything except bad cd-r's
for a way to turn up your laser go to dccopyworld main page and look for some words saying cd-rw modification
don't give up to easily
there is always away around it
