Biggest Hard-drive thats lockable.
 

I was wondering if you guys knew whats the biggest lockable hard-drive I can use.
Also is it possible for me to transfer all my data from my 120gb hard-drive and have the 300gb work perfectly without any problems, ... AND still letting me access the 300gb.

I don't think the current 300 gb's are lockable. there was a list somewhere around. If i fined it, i will post it here.

Should I get a 250gb then?

What you could do is buy the 300gb, see if its lockable, if it is keep it. If its not, take it back to the store and tell them it doesn’t work or some thing and ask for a 250gb.

I'm not to sure about getting a hdd off ebay. You may be getting someone else's problem, and who nows if they are anygood also.
Safe to buy from a store and try it out if no good take it back. And then your not out any cash.

I've bought so many things off ebay, haven't really had any problems as of yet.

Theres a slim chance of getting ripped off, you if actually read the sellers feedback.

Ya I know what your saying. Its just that I would not buy anything like that off ebay without a warranty. And also shipping , what if they drop it on the way to you. Your money though

just don't get a used one.

kinda pricey, but it's the highest lockable HDD out there that I know of.
