Problems updating sacred!
 

Hi,
some days ago I formated my OS-Partition and reinstalled it cause it was no longer working fine.

Yesterday I tryed to install the 1.2.0.0. Patch of Sacred, but It didn't work.... I got the error message : "Update failed, version mismatch".

But I don't think that the version is at all the problem, I think one or more missing entries in the registry make the program pop up this error-code ( they are missing cause I formated).

So does anyone know the entries I have to add to the registry in order to patch the game without getting this error-message?

Mhhh I would try to reinstall Sacred and make sure that u have non (thing on your HD that u need no disc).

Wasn't the word "Sacred" marked as a BAD WORD in this forum?

Btw, v1.0.5.0b came out today, and it sucks ass again :rolleyes:

Well, all of the sacred patches work without manually giving them the location I or you installed the game to.
So what I need is just the entry in the registry which contains the path where sacred is installed in order to get this game patched.

So if there's anyone out there who has installed the game in a "normal" way, please let me know where I have to add the entry....
