Soldering Technique
 

Hi,

Can someone give me some soldering techniques for modding an xbox

I thought yours was already modded :confused:

Get a solderness one, works exactly like a solder one.

if you already have a solder chip, or still plan to get one, here are my trechniques specific to the xbox.

1. Use solder with a rosen core for the d0.
2. Get some rosen flux anyway, to spread on the d0 point (makes the solder stick to it better)
3. For the other solder points...If the holes are filled, use their solder, not your own. It is only a matter of heating and sticking the wire in it.
4. use the smallest tip you can find.

also get yourself a low wattage iron,about 12watts is plenty

Or just get a solderless chip :)

NO! Their crap mate.

Im getting to a duox i donno if i should do i direct install or a wire install.

I got a 15 watt and a 0.12 nib just gotta order some tip cleaner and flux.

I know I know, get a solderless one!

well i might get a solderless one but ive heard there a swine it keeps poping out of place
