Renaming Games in Evolution X
 

Okay, heres my question how do I rename games it shows the game name as Pxgame0, ... so in the menu where I choose games I don't see Pxgame0, but see the actual name of the game.

I have xbe loader ... can you guys give me the instructions to how to rename the game. Thanks :)

use a program called "xbe renamer" to rename the xbe headers. I also think "dexbe" can rename as well.

Okay I have the program, now where do I find the "Headers"

Dont take this the wrong way mate, but did you read the "readme.txt" file that came with it?

Actually I think you have to change a couple lines in your evox.ini file. Normally game names are taken from the default xbe which are pretty close to the normal name. HDDLoader stores the game files in file name PxGame.

I used Xbe Finder and some on managed to delete the game off my HD. Not a big problem.

Since I just put it back on there. Used Xbe Renamer ... SUCCESS!

Its weird, I put True Crimes onto my HD, and it put in the name itself in ...

But The Sims bustin' out, showed Pxgame0 ... weird.

Thats what I thought. Normally the name is drawn from the xbe not the folder
