Update 2 the sticky
 

You guys probably already know this but, could you update the sticky so that it states that the newer versions of DVD X Copy can not rip movies?

Well it will with AnyDVD, I think. Just like CloneDVD. I may edit it after a while.

k, just thought i would say something, but, the RF version of X Copy does not even have a rip (of ANY sort) as far as I know.

afaik the online, puchasable versions of DvdXCopy can rip dvds. In some countries 321 Studios were forced to remove the CSS ripping due to legal reasons - but their online version still has this ability.

PS: Sticky is outdated and due an update at some stage, maybe an overhaul.

Hey guys, one thing you could add to the Sticky (DVD Backup for Dummies) is the best DVD-Writers and Readers so that people interested in getting one and/or updating there current one. But, due to the ever changing (as well as how often new burners (Speed and type) come out, it could be just a hassle. Its up to you

Maybe, but that would almost go in the CD/DVD Writers forum not the DVD Backup forum.
