X-box game backups (Noob)
 

Is it possible to simply install a good modchip and backup up games on DVD-R blank disc's with Nero or DVD Clone or is it more complicated than that?

A bit more complicated, not much though. You have the right idea. You can't make 1:1 copys of games you know.

You have to run software on your XBox such as EvoX which sets up a FTP server and you FPT in and copy all the files off the disk to your PC. From there you burn your disks.

Oh yeah, I remember that. I just tried to discourage a spam reply on one my post. It really wasn't that big of a deal but it really was a worthless reply, its strange he even wasted time posting it. I can't remember what it said, it's been awhile back. Is he a moderator or something?:o

No he is not a moderator, but I am. Plus I suggest that if you have any other problems with any other members you report them to one of us.

I had to investigate his claim that his IP was contacted. I take it niether of you 2 will have any problems with each other again?

I have no problemo with that, and if I get another spammer, I'll let you know ASAP. :cool:. Its only happened 2 times since I've been around here (Went by another name in past until I reformatted, about 1 year total) and I think it was the same replier on both occasions but I can't be 100% sure.
I'm sure Iceman might be a good guy but I didn't care for the guff. I wish I could remember which thread it was but it really isn't a big deal in my opinion so I'm not even going to attempt a search. I willing to forget and forgive, no harm done, right?
