Fixing discs...
I was wondering if someone could post a tutorial on what to use/how to use automobile rubbing compound to fix discs. I read you can use it on them, but I was just wondering if there were any specifics like which direction to rub, how corse the compound should be, and so on...
Thanks! |
Tutorial?
Just get some very fine polishing liquid (not the coarse stuff). Then using a soft cloth just dab a little touch of the liquid on the cloth and polish.
I recommend doing this on a flat surface like a clean table. Ive seen people do it using just their hands and while it does work. Eventually the disc may break. So I recommend the table. By no means to I recommend an actual electric buffer to do this. I do all the polishing by hand. Tyler! |
I use this with a 40 grit
