yamaha crw3200 problems
 

I've had my yamaha crw3200 for a couple of years now, but of late it won't recognize blank cds..and when i try and burn cds it says the message "please insert blank disk" it happens w/ alcohol 120%, clonecd, recordnow max and nero...any one know what i can do to fix this? or is it time to buy a new burner?

You could try a cleaning disc, but it is probably time for a new burner.

doh..that's what i was thinking too..about buying a new one....any recommendations? i was probably going to get the lite-on it's fast and has decent reviews...i can't seem to find any yamaha's

Yeah a Lite-On is an excellent choice.

I have this same problem. You using an nforce 2 mobo? I usually put a cd in the drive then restart the computer.
