A newbie seeks answers and says hi to everyone ( Please help me)
 
Hi everyone.
My name is Johnny(alias: mantus)
Iam totaly new to Dreamcast. And to this forums. Now i have been in the Warez buissnes for PC for a long time. But dc is new.....

Now i have some questions i hope someone could help me with.
1. If i dl an ISO for Dc can i then burn it down on a ordinary CD-R cd and then play it on my dc?

2. Iam not gonna ask where to get ISo cause i got pages for that :)

3.If its possible to burn it down on a cd and then play it Do i need some special software or anything like that. how will i do it?

4. Hmmm i think i done for now...... :)

I whould also like to say Hi to every old timers here and hope we all can get along and in time i may be of help to all ye guys...

If anyone has the answers i need i whould be really happy if you could contact me. its ok to send a email or Icq......

ok then:

1. You don't need any special media (noteably GD-ROM discs) like some sites seem to advirtise. Most people seem to prefer verbitam, but I use TDK Metallic.

2. Email me with some decent sites if you could (check my profile).

3. Some games are self-bootable which means you just put them in you DC and play them. Others are Non-Bootable and need a special Boot-Disk which has been released by UTOPIA. You can download this at www.dccopyworld.com or check Big Papa's post for his i-drive account. To use the Boot-Disk, all you do is put the Boot-disk in your DC, wait for it to load, and then put in your backup. To burn downloaded games, you'll need diskjuggler 2.0.
