Using gameshark on Self booting shenmue
 

Is there a way to use gameshark on Self booting shenmue?? When i am told to swap discs after selecting the code, the game always does not boot up and go to the menu screen, and i need to boot it up manually. Apparently, the codes are not activated whenever you enter the menu screen. Any help is welcomed.

The same happens to me too. I think it can be solved by modyfing the master code but I don't know how.
