Help-Need To Buy A Dvd Writer
 
Hey,
I need some help in finding a suitable Dvd writer. So i thought i would ask the forums for a little help i basically need a 8x and 4x writer thats easy to use and has some software thats good for a beginer, preferably under £100 so if you got any suggestions i would be very Grateful.

So you need two burners? Or an 8x -r/+r with 4x -rw/+rw Either way Pioneer is the way to go.

the Pioneer 107 will not writer at 8x without the firmware update (i've try it on on all the 8x plus disc's with the update it writers x8 on 4x disc's its 50/50 if it works so you will be better writing x4 max) as for software you will find hard to find a dvd writer with software for £100 you better buying the writer as a OEM and buy the software on its own http://www.scan.co.uk sometimes bungles sorftware with it for around £100 mark thats the Pioneer 107 and nero 6

50/50? What brand you been using? I have been hearing 4x Ritek works great at 8x.

they are ritek printerables about 2 or 3 out 100 don't work on film but if you do xbox games its 50/50 if they work at 6x on film its great
